Dear Booster Club Member,

The tradition continues as we all look forward to another successful season with the 2008-09 H2oyas Booster Club. Without the support, commitment, and enthusiasm from every member we could not continue to uphold the reputation of having high standards of excellence in all that we strive to achieve.

Our responsibility as the Booster Club is to be the support system for the coaching staff and our athletes. We will provide services to make the team run efficiently. This will include attendance at Booster Club meetings, participating in and supporting any fundraising activities throughout the season, and assuming the necessary duties of a host team. In order for the team to run smoothly it takes everyone willing to do his or her part. After all, our Swimmers and Divers deserve the same level of commitment from us as we do them. The Booster Club supports all athletes, and coaches at Harrison High School in a respectable manner in all activities. Booster Club membership is available to all parents/guardians of registered team members.

We are very fortunate to have Head Coach Abby Dunk returning this season. Joining her will be Assistant Coach Will Sams who is an Honors Physics teacher here at Harrison. The coaching staff not only possesses knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm, but also the ability to create a wonderful unity amongst the team members. We are also fortunate to have Javelli Simmons as our administrative support.

We would like to thank everyone in advance for their support and we look forward to a great season. Be on the lookout for some great team bonding activities that are sure to get the swimmers moving. Go H2oyas!!!
